Travel detail: I know of a place that routinely disposes of new books in the alley directly behind their store. I don't really know for certain why they don't give the books away to libraries or charity or why they don't recycle them. However, I trust that the store has legitimate reasons for the actions. In any event, I rescued this book before it's free ride to the dump arrived.
