Between Barack and a Hard Place: Racism and White Denial in the Age of Obama
Bought this one back when it was first available for purchase in 2009. I've read one other book by the same author - 'White Like Me' (2007); the title is based on John Howard Griffin's 'Black Like Me' (1961). 'Between Barack and a Hard Place' has been here in the house on the bookshelf ever since. I haven't read it yet but will do so before election 2016 January 1, 2016, 1:21 am

Not Afraid of Life: My Journey So Far
I bought this book for 50¢ (the price was $1 but there was a half price sale). I'm not a Sarah Palin fan and I don't really have much interest in reading about her daughter Bristol's life. However, I want Nandibear.com to be open to all demographics so I think I'll make myself read this book (there's only 253 pages) and provided a review of the same December 21, 2015, 9:21 pm
